NOGO Sauces

FODMAP’s is the name given to a range of carbohydrates that have been shown to irritate and affect those that suffer from IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). FODMAPS stand for : Fermentable, Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides and Polyols.

These carbohydrates can be found in a range of foods, the most common are onion and garlic. Following on from these two major irritants, there are other foods that are considered ‘high’, ‘moderate’ and ‘low’ FODMAP. These should be considered when you are looking to take on the FODMAP way of eating, we suggest always working alongside a qualified dietitian or doctor when embracing a FODMAP diet.

Did you know, NOGO is a play on words (NO garlic, NO onion – because for a lot of people these are the main culprits!)? You can be sure that our range of pasta sauces, condiments and relishes will always be FODMAP friendly (we go so far as to only use the green part of the spring onion and use a certified FODMAP Garlic oil).
